I was in a hotel room in a beachside resort with my partner. My partner wanted nothing to do with me; she paid no attention to me and wanted me gone. Once outside the front door of the hotel room, I left the room, walking the streets of my childhood suburb, which turned into a Mediterranean/Santorini-style restaurant and hotel. It was very busy and I pushed my way through the crowd. I finally got to a bar where I bypassed and out of the door. Once I was out of the door, it turned into a windy uphill highway in the middle of a pine forest. I looked behind me, and the sun was setting, so I tried to find shelter. Eventually, I found a make-shift tent and sat down. I looked around and the forest was foggy, the ground was covered in pine needles that had turned brown. It felt like a kind space but very foreign, I was calm yet scared. As soon as it was morning, I left, running back to my partner to tell her what happened. She was worried for me, but as soon as I started talking, she lost interest again. I walked back the same path I took to get to the forest, I wanted to find the shelter again. This time I stopped at the bar in the medderainan restaurant and asked if they had seen a shelter in the woods, part of me thought it wasn't real. There was 2 bartenders and they both stopped what they were doing to talk to me. They said there was a homeless man who lived in the forest, he has given them a bag to return to its owner, the bag had been left in his shelter. The bag was my bag. Happy to have it returned, I looked inside to check it was all in order. Nothing was out of place, everything was in there. I was confused as I had invaded this homeless man's space and left my belongings there, I thought he would take the money at least, but he didn't. I asked if they knew where I could find him to say thank you. They said they didn't know, but they showed me a picture of him. He was a long, elongated man, with long arms and long legs. he was very, very pale and skinny. He has a full head of black hair, and his face was sunken; he looked frail. He looked scary, others would find him scary but I thought he looked kind. I went to go find him, but before I could, I woke up.
